This year team Toolally are celebrating ‘Galentine’s Day’ the fun, feminine, take on Valentine’s Day – a true celebration of women.
Let’s start by celebrating our number one Galentine, Toolally founder and creative director Mags and her inspirations…
Art, fashion, nature and the Art Deco period have all been inspirations for Toolally collections. Progressive modernity; a look embodied by the gorgeous flapper girls is expressed through geometric, angular shapes – a style reflected in a number of Toolally designs.
Silver Screen goddesses and our original Galentine’s Jean Harlow and Greta Garbo have been huge inspirations, influencing the design of our Art Deco Chandeliers – worn by Lara Stone, for British Vogue’s August 2015 cover story; the moment that marked the beginning of Toolally’s journey.

Audrey Hepburn, yet another Galentine crush, and the glamour of the 40s and 50s has been the inspiration for many designs including Toolally bestsellers – the Half Moon Drops.

Mary Quant and the Swinging Sixties inspired Toolally’s By Moonlights, Fleck Hoops and Asymmetric Circles, alongside Barbara Hepworth the legendary artist that inspired our Hepworth earrings.

Today, our Galentine inspirations are Catherine Summers, (notlamb) Helen B, (40plusnotgivingupyet) Louise Boyce, (mamastillgotit) and most importantly YOU! The hundreds of fabulous women who wear our designs and share your photographs. Thank you!

Which women will you be celebrating this Galentine’s Day?
