Fashion week is drawing to a close in Paris, marking the end of fashion month for A/W 2018. We’ve rounded up the trends from our favourite featured designers one last time.
Natasha Ramsay-Levi’s A/W18 collection was an ode to the 70s. Billowing gypsy-hem skirts in soft browns and camels gave the collection a pragmatic feel, whilst maintaining the drama that comes with a runway show. We especially loved the silky cowgirl-style blouses! A great source of inspiration for your A/W colour palette.
Wear with… Pear Drops – lemon
The fabrics and tailoring on show at Givenchy’s show was second to none. There were sequins, leather and animal print – an explosion of texture with an uber cool monochrome feel. A true testament to high fashion.
Wear with… Hoop Drops – black
In the same week as International Women’s Day, Valentino’s collection was a nod to women’s 80s power dressing. We loved the use of shoulder pads and a sleek monochrome palette mixed with clean tailoring. The occasional bright pops of colour appealed Team Toolally! Flashes of floral print gave the collection a fresh feel for A/W and we’ll definitely be featuring some Valentino in our #SundayStyleGuide.
Wear with… LBD Hoops – black
Karl Lagerfeld stated that “Autumn is always my favourite season”, and this fondness for the season was evident across the collection. Set against a backdrop of crunching autumn leaves, dark navy blues and Lagerfeld’s signature blacks were mixed with warm tweeds. If you’re looking for outerwear inspiration this autumn, look no further than the timeless chic of Chanel!
Wear with… Sundials – black
We’re sad to see the back of fashion month and have loved seeing all the wonderful styles on show. Stay stylish!
