Welcome to the first edition of our Wednesday Wellness Guide. As a jewellery brand that prides itself on colour and fun, we want to do all we can to keep you smiling.
Every week, we will be sending you our favourite stay at home guides – from exercise advice and healthy recipe ideas, to book recommendations and the best series on Netflix. Please feel free to send any recommendations for us to share with our wonderful community.
In the first of our new series, we’re focussing on fitness. We’ve rounded up exercise tips and workout videos that will keep you active and feeling good from the comfort of your home.
Cult fitness guru Joe Wicks will be live streaming his fitness sessions every weekday to keep the nation fit while staying at home. If you can’t make the Livestream, simply subscribe to his YouTube channel to get free access to his home workout routines that are suitable for all the family.
Toolally founder Mags is taking on Adriene’s 30-day yoga challenge. Another free YouTube subscription to enable you to clear your head. The at home workouts get a little more challenging each day and you can even complete in the garden – weather permitting!
Jessica Valant, a certified Pilates instructor with over 16 years of experience, posts videos weekly showing you how you can workout from your bedroom, garden or living room. No matter your experience, her videos are easy to follow and lots of fun!
Practising meditation is a great way to get rid of stress and find inner peace. Taking a little time out of the day to focus on cleansing the mind. If you are new to meditation, the Calm app is a great intro. You can get a free trial when you download the app here. https://www.calm.com/signup-flow
For a more guided version of mediation, there are lots of free videos available on YouTube.
Whether it’s before or after a workout or you just need to stretch out after a day of sitting in your home office, these videos are great for improving your flexibility with some gentle mind-clearing exercise.
We would love to hear what you are all doing to keep active, healthy and happy whilst at home. If there is anything specific you would like us to cover, send us a message on firstname.lastname@example.org or get in touch on social.
