Pure London

What we got up to at Pure London

We’ve finally recovered from the excitement of Pure London – our very first trade show, the first time we showcased all our collections together and our first chance to meet lots of lovely stockists!

We arrived at Olympia London on Saturday morning and started setting up our space. We were in the emerging brands section, nestled between beautiful printed scarves by Claudia Meller and delicate jewellery by Wish. After meeting the inspiring people all around us, like Esa from Lady Muck, Sophie from Future Heirlooms and James and Carrie from Little Moose, we got to work setting up our masterpiece – the handmade 3D cube tower that held all our pretty pieces!

Sunday dawned bright and cheerful and we headed off to Kensington with a spring in our step. Our first day at Pure was jam-packed and we were rushed off our feet all day long – we spoke to buyers from all over the world, taking exciting orders from new stockists in London, Edinburgh, Spain and Italy. When 6pm rolled around we were tired but elated. A great way to kick off our first Pure experience!

Monday and Tuesday were equally as exciting, with buyers from as far afield as Japan and a chance to see our jewellery on the Pure catwalk. But the best thing about Pure was meeting so many talented people – we were surrounded by beautiful things created by people with a passion for high quality design, just like us. It was really inspiring to chat to everyone, and we’ve definitely made some friends for life.

By 4pm on Tuesday it was all over. We dismantled our 3D tower and wrapped it up ready for the drive back to Yorkshire, then headed home to make a start on our orders. We can’t wait to see our colourful pieces gracing the shelves of our new stockists – what a whirlwind experience!
